Odd Things 7

Boy do I have some catching up to do! My sister and her husband came to visit this weekend, and so I haven't been keeping up with the blogging this week at all! I've got some stories though, don't you worry! But first, odd things!

This is my left foot. I have 3 more months and the swelling is already getting a little uncomfortable!

My left foot is about 50% bigger than normal, and my right is about 25% bigger. The tops of my feel actually jiggle when I walk. Sorry if that grosses you out, but I'm pregnant and everything is gross. Hahaha! Speaking of, I got a text from my sister on Thursday asking about the weather as they were driving through some pretty heavy rain storms on the way up. When the text came in I was at the lab for my monthly pee test, so I told her the delay in my response was due to the fact that I was peeing in a cup. Apparently she was doing the driving at that time so I told my brother-in-law that I was peeing in a cup. When they got here she told me about my faux pas, and he was obviously a little embarrassed. I told him to get over it. I'm pregnant. I have to give my pee to anyone who asks for it! Hahaha!

A news story that kept popping up this week on sympatico was about the shortest man in the world. At 18 years old he is apparently 23.5 inches tall. When X was born, he was 24 inches long. That struck me as odd.

People keep asking what we're going to name the babies. People who are not BFFs or family. If we did have any names picked out I'm not spreading them around! I might change my mind, or one might turn out to be a boy, or you might try to make me change my mind, or you might steal the name for your dog or something. So, until the babies are born, you will not know the names!

I'm getting crankier. Can you tell? Hahaha. I feel bad when I get cranky at M, or X. I'm trying to stay aware of my emotional state so I can choose to be happier, but I'm done putting up random dumbness. Like the drunk guy at the bank. DON'T COME CLOSE TO ME. You smell and my nose is extra sensitive these days so BACK OFF! And the panhandler in the grocery store parking lot. Look, just because I'm walking slower than my husband and my son does NOT mean I'm an easier target. Shut up and leave me alone! :) But really, I don't think I'm all that scary.

My mom thinks she's having sympathy swelling. M thinks he's having sympathy baby brain. X thinks both babies will have the same name as they will be twins. I think they're all crazy.
